DRAW THE ISLAND CLOSER TO YOU – LOGBOOK
- The logbook Draw the island closer to you is made up of irregularly published short texts from our voyage, which began on the 17th. 6. 2025 on the Fiume Stella and is bound for the Azores to the Pico island.
Day 10 and 11. Dive into shared streams. After many days of calm, the weather changes. It starts to blow 12kn or more. Letās see how long the wind lasts. Weāre more and more at sea. Here and there you can see dolphins. Very few fish. The Adriatic is pitifully empty and lifeless. A very sad body of water. Itās as if we live in a world we canāt see.
Day six of the voyage. The sky is clear and the seascape is just glowing. Itās the second day of summer. Overall, itās going very slowly. Thereās no wind.
And so we set sail. Not just across the ocean, but across time. Itās more-than-sailing. Itās an echo. It teaches us to see, and every child on board is the seed of the future.
After a week of intensive preparations, we yesterday 17. 6. 2025 launched Risho Maru on the Fiume Stella River. Our voyage, which we symbolically named Draw the island closer to you began and runs through several seas and one ocean to the home.
When we arrived at the port yesterday to prepare Risho Maru for the journey, there were other @wharramcatamarans neighbors around us. Unfortunately Pahi in very bad condition.
It is currently 35 degrees in Italy.
